Here is where you can find several links to free patterns to help you sew items for our 2023 quilt show boutique. All the money earned from the boutique helps provide guest speakers and workshops throughout the year, so please consider contributing a few or a lot of items. Items need to be done by the June meeting (if you want us to price them) or brought with price tags on them the day of set-up.
If you have ideas for others and have a free pattern to share, please email [email protected]. |
Tissue Box CoversThese are reversible and use two fat quarters. Probably requires intermediate skills.
ScrunchiesDog BandanasLanyardsAll you need to do is sign up for an account and the three patterns above are free for you to download.
Cord WrapsQuick to make. Hopefully quick to sell. I use these when I travel. I bought mine, so hopefully others will too.
Zippered Pencil PouchCould be used for much more than pencils.
Towel TopperPet LeashI have heavy-duty hooks, so if you want to sew up a leash or two for the boutique, I can bring the hooks! (I plan on making one of these for my own pooch, so I ordered some extra hooks.) I think this is a unique boutique item that will sell well in our dog-loving community!
One Yard ApronQuick and easy apron with only a yard of fabric!

Sun Glasses CasesI am looking for another pattern too - one that has a snap cover. But this is a simple one.
Car Ditty BagThis is such a great way to keep items from going between seats or occupying the cup holder!
Chapstick Holder Key FobThese are great sellers! I have the keyrings and the snaps, so if anyone wants to sew these but doesn't have the snaps and/or keyrings, I can provide these. This is definitely one of the projects I plan to do!
Quick Baby BibsGreat way to use up left-over Minkie and flannel. Pattern says it takes about 15 minutes to make one of these.
Barrette HolderExtra ribbon? Here is a good way to use some of it up.
Rope BowlsI know some of you have taken a class on how to do these, but here is a tutorial if you would like a refresher or have never made one.

Mug CozyThis would be a great way to use up some of that thin elastic many of us have from making masks!
Earbud PouchThis would sell to a younger crowd. Holds either just the earbuds or even the case with them in it. Easy to add a ring and a clip. (I have lots, so if you need keyrings and want to make these, just ask - Misty)
Bowl CoziesI bought fancy templates to make these and ended up just using my square ruler. Super easy to make!
Crayon Roll UpCrayons do not need to be included. Great little project. (Could include some copies of quilt block coloring pages!)
Thread Picture HolderThese could be made with decorative paper or fabric as well. No sew project. Fun use of old wooden thread holders.
Easy Fabric BookmarksEasy and quick! Interfacing and pinking shears are needed.
Mini BasketsThese use 10" fabric pieces, so left-over pieces from a layer cake would be perfect for this project. The link takes you to a tricks and tips page, where you can click on the original pattern.
